2. Capture (Gather Information)

Once someone finds you, get a way to stay in touch. You can’t build a relationship with a stranger, so you need their contact information—what we call a lead. Even if you don't get their email, a site visit is still a win.

Ask for their information (Lead Generation): Offer something valuable, like a discount or a useful guide, in exchange for their email address.

Keep track of it all (CRM): Use a simple system (Customer Relationship Management) to organize your contacts and remember what they were interested in.

Capture first-party data (Site Visits): Even if someone doesn't sign up, their visit is a win. Your website can collect information on what they looked at, which helps you understand their interests so you can show them more of what they like later.



3. Re-engage (Remind, Build Frequency, Give More Information)

Now, build a relationship and earn their business. You must regularly follow up with a purpose: to give them an undeniable reason to believe in you.

Stay in touch (Follow-up): Regularly send emails or messages to keep your business top of mind.

Show them you're the real deal (Build Credibility): Go beyond selling. Share customer stories and helpful tips that prove your expertise and reinforce why they should trust you.

Retargeting (Additional Frequency): Use ads to remind people who have already visited your website about your products or services.
